As well as the documents we draft for the general public we also provide drafting services for over 100 other legal firms.

We believe, like many other businesses in the legal sector, that it is preferable to specialise and excel in a certain field. Our particular focus is on Estate Planning including the drafting of Wills or Lasting Powers of Attorney, or the provision of Trustee services. We do not practice in other fields, such as divorce and family law.

This specialism means that our clients can be assured that the advice and documents we provide are exactly what they need to protect their families and estate. Alongside the documents we draft for the general public we also provide drafting services for over 100 other legal firms.

Benefits of Having Legal Documents Drafted.

Go Pro and Avoid Issues.

Whilst it is possible to draft a Will or complete a Lasting Power of Attorney yourself, we believe that by having your legal documents drafted by a professional avoids future issues, saves money in the long run, and offers extra protection for your family.

If you are looking to have a Will, or other Estate Planning document drafted, please contact out sister company Simpler Law to discuss this further.

Avoiding Future Issues.

Sadly, for those people who write their own Wills any errors they have made will not come to light until it is too late. A small misunderstanding in the law, or an error in explaining how the estate should be distributed, can cause painful problems after they have passed away. All documents our legal specialists draft are proofed by our highly trained compliance team, ensuring these issues are avoided.

Saving
Money.

At Fidelis Legal we have experienced Inheritance Tax Advisors who work with our drafting specialists to ensure that our clients only pay the legal minimum required. This way clients can avoid large tax bills, which would reduce the inheritance left to their loved ones. These advisors can sometimes suggest other Estate Planning solutions, such as Asset Protection Trusts, which we can draft to provide further protection.

Extra Protection for Your Family.

The documents we draft fully reflect our clients’ wishes and will stand up to scrutiny and legal challenges. This means that the beneficiaries of the Will are protected should someone who has been excluded from the document makes a claim against the estate. The documents we draft are also protected by a £5M professional indemnity insurance policy.
