Celebrating 10 Years Of Group Success

Ten years ago, our founders, Andy Townsend, Ian Peace, and Helen Claydon, launched what would become our parent company, the HAIG Legal Group. And this year we are celebrating a decade of growth and success.

And what success it has been. From 19 members of staff in 2016, to in-excess of 150 employees in 2026, all supported by strong and steady annual growth. We’re proud that two of those employees have been with us for the past ten years, now in positions of senior management. Across the group we have prepared end-of-life planning documents for around 220,000 clients and are currently managing £1.2 billion in client assets as professional trustees. The group has also acquired Northwood Banks & Co., moved HQ twice, opened offices in Leicester and Manchester, and survived Covid over an eventful decade.

To celebrate this important milestone the HAIG Legal Group threw a sparkling black tie ball for all group employees at the Lincoln Hilton Doubletree. It was a fantastic evening of good food, surprises, prize giving and enthusiastic dancing, with over 100 employees in attendance.

Group CEO, Andy Townsend said “The success of the group, and all group companies, is due in no small part to our employees. We believe in our people, supporting them through qualifications, offering industry leading training, and providing a pathway for in-house promotions. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are today. They are as much a part of this ten year anniversary as myself, Ian and Helen.”

We are already working hard on exciting plans and targets for the next decade, and confident we will meet them.
