Fidelis’ Chief Legal Officer Finalist at Modern Law Awards 2026

We were excited to learn that our Chief Legal Officer and director, Helen Claydon, has been shortlisted in the Lawyer of the Year category at the Modern Law Awards 2026. Lawyer of the Year is a highly prestigious and competitive category and we are proud that Helen has been recognised in this way.

Her drive and passion for her profession has not only seen her shortlisted for the Modern Law Awards, but also act as an inspiration for everyone here at Fidelis Legal Services.

It was also exciting to hear that our HAIG Legal Group colleagues at Simpler Law are finalists in two awards categories. They have been nominated for Will & Probate Team of the Year and Legal Firm of the Year (Medium). These nominations reflect the hard work, enthusiasm and expertise everyone at Simpler Law puts in. We wish them the very best of luck at the awards night, which takes place at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield at the end of April.

The Modern Law Awards were created to showcase innovation, experience, talent, and expertise across the legal profession nationwide. Founded by Modern Law Magazine 13 years ago the awards have grown to become a key date in the legal services calendar, with some of the leading names in the sector nominated.
